Transition to Paper Bag Mandate
The Municipality is transitioning to a paper bag mandate in communities that are currently subject to a clear bag mandate for curbside leaf and yard waste collection:
- Bates Subdivision

Benefits of Paper Bags:
- Reduce environmental impact by minimizing plastic waste
- Promote sustainability with biodegradable materials
- Easily recyclable and compostable
Important Dates:
- January 1, 2025: Leaf and yard waste will no longer be accepted in clear plastic bags at the curb. Residents must use paper bags.
