Municipal offices and most services will be closed Monday, October 14 in recognition of the Thanksgiving Day holiday.
Other services are scheduled as follows:
Arenas: All arenas are closed Monday, October 14.
Arts and Culture: Chatham Capitol Theatre, Kiwanis Theatre, CKTickets Box Office, Chatham Cultural Centre, Chatham-Kent Museum, Ridge House Museum, The Milner Heritage House, Thames Art Gallery and ARTspace will be closed Monday, October 14.
Cemetery Operations: Cemeteries staff will be available on call for funeral homes that need at-need lot sales or internment orders.
CK Public Health: CK Public Health will be closed on Monday, October 14. Essential after-hours Public Health services are available by calling 1-866-446-8207. Due to the Public Health lab schedule, acceptance of well water samples will be paused starting Friday, October 10 at 11am until regular office hours resume on Tuesday October 15.
EarlyON: All EarlyON programs are closed Monday, October 14.
Emergency Services: Police, Fire and Ambulance are operational 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and are accessible by dialing “911” for emergency calls only. The Fire Administration office will be closed on Monday, October 14, re-opening on Tuesday, October 15 at 8:30 a.m.
Employment and Social Services: Employment and Social Services will be closed Monday, October 14. The Homeless Response Line at 519-354-6628 for homeless emergencies within Chatham-Kent is operational 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Those affected by the fire at 99 McNaughton West can contact their case manger.
Entegrus: Entegrus will be closed will be closed Monday, October 14. The emergency call number is 519-352-6300.
Fleet Services: Fleet Services will be closed on Monday, October 14.
Housing Services: Housing Services will be closed on Monday, October 14. For homeless emergencies please contact the Homeless Response Line at 519-354-6628.
Leaf and Yard Depots: All Leaf and Yard Depots will be closed Monday, October 14.
Libraries: All Chatham-Kent Public Library branches will be closed Monday, October 14. Virtual Services are available 24/7 at www.ckpl.ca.
Pools: Pools will be closed on Monday, October 14. Please visit www.Chatham-Kent.ca/recreation for more information.
Provincial Offences Court: The Provincial Offences Court will be closed Monday, October 14. Please note that during office closures fines can continue to be paid online at www.paytickets.ca.
Public Utilities Commission: The PUC will be closed on Monday, October 14.
RIDE CK: All Ride CK Transit services will not operate Monday, October 14.
Riverview Gardens: Reception and administrative offices will be closed Monday, October 14. Nursing staff can be reached 24/7 by calling 519-352-4823.
Service Ontario: Both the Chatham and Dresden locations will be closed on Monday, October 14.
Tourism: CK Tourism will be closed Monday, October 14. To access visitor information at any time, please go www.visitck.ca.
Transfer Stations: All Transfer Stations will be closed Monday, October 14.
Waste and Recycling: Monday, October 14 waste collection will be delayed by one day. Refer to the 2024 Recycling and Waste Collection Guide for further details.
