The Municipality of Chatham-Kent is inviting public comment and ideas to improve the accessibility, aesthetics, and overall experience for patrons visiting Wheatley Area Arena over the short and medium term.
The public may propose any project aimed at improving the accessibility, aesthetics, or overall experience for those visiting or using the facility. The administration will consider proposed projects against available funding sources as they may become available in the future.
Members of the public may submit their idea at www.letstalkchatham-kent.ca before 4:30pm on Wednesday, May 31, 2023. Submissions will be included in a future report to Municipal Council.
Wheatley Area Arena is located at 196 Erie St North in Wheatley. The facility hosts several sports clubs and special events and serves as a gathering space for community groups and area residents.
