Growing Together Program Launches with Mayor and Glasshouse Nursery Support

It's time to let those garden dreams take root. Mayor Canniff and Glasshouse Nursery are teaming up once again to launch the much-anticipated "Growing Together" program, a celebration of community greenery and creativity.

From now until July 13, citizens are encouraged to nominate the green wonders in their neighborhoods that make our community shine brighter than a field of sunflowers. These garden gems will then be carefully reviewed by our local beautification and horticultural committees, who will score them based on their awe-inspiring beauty and innovation.

Nominations can be made here: www.letstalkchatham-kent.ca/growing-together

But wait, there's more than just bragging rights at stake. Thanks to the generous support of Glasshouse Nursery, winning gardens will receive a fabulous gift certificate to fuel their gardening passions, along with a special garden sign declaring their greatness for all to see!

"I am beyond excited to see the creativity and dedication of our community's gardeners on display once again. Let's make this year's Growing Together program the greenest one yet!", said Mayor Canniff.

Glasshouse Nursery added, "We are proud to sponsor the Growing Together program and to support our community's love for gardening."

In collaboration with our local cultural and beautification committees, this year's theme is ORANGE, inspired by Ontario Communities in Bloom. Local community’s groups and the municipality will be incorporating the colour orange in their garden designs. So, get ready to infuse your gardens with a burst of citrusy goodness and join us in making our community a vibrant oasis of color and joy!
