Work continues to prepare the fenced buildings along Erie St. N. and Talbot Rd. E. in Wheatley for demolition.
This week, the steel fencing along the east side of Erie St. N. and the north side of Talbot Rd. E. will be relocated onto the roadway in preparation for the demolition.
On street parking and Municipal sidewalks adjacent to the fencing will be unavailable during the demolition. Road closures are not anticipated.
Demolition contractor Salandria Ltd. will be mobilizing equipment to the site beginning Monday May 27th. It is expected that internal work within the buildings will begin on May 27th, and demolition of the buildings to follow within a week.
