All CKPL branches offer Chromeboxes for public use. Chromeboxes have accessibility features including text-to-speech, high contrast display mode, and screen magnifier. Large print keyboards and headphones are available at most branches on request.
You can scan a book on the SARA (scanning and reading appliance) and have it read back to you in one of 18 languages. This device is available in the Chatham Branch but can be sent to another branch on request.
Wallaceburg Branch also provides Portable Digital Video Magnifiers for use in the branch.
