Comments on cause: Station #20 – Wheatley and Station #19 – Tilbury were dispatched to 21104 Erie St South Wheatley for a fully engulfed structure fire just after 11pm yesterday evening. Upon arrival crews took a defensive attack extinguishing the fire in the abandoned home. An excavator was also brought to the scene to assist. No injuries, cause is undetermined, and the loss estimated at $50, 000.
